ABCD Check

19th Mar 2019

Our Primary 7 'Eco Committee' spent some time on Thursday going around all of the classes in our school teaching the other children how to perform an ABCD check on their bikes. This is a quick check that we can all to before riding our bikes to see if they are safe to use. The children all received a check list for them to use at home.

A - Air, is there enough air in your tyres?

B - Brakes, do both of your brakes work?

C - Chain, is your chain attached and is it oiled?

D - Drop check, lift your bike a couple of centimetres off the ground, without letting go drop gently and everything should remain attached.
