A great start to Term 2 in P3SG

19th Jan 2026

We have all been working hard since returning to school after our Christmas holidays. We have been learning all about place value in our Numeracy and we have been using dienes materials to help us with our calculations.

We also have been thinking about Questioning as part of our Literacy work. We have been learning how to construct our own questions using a variety of question words, always remembering our question mark at the end.

We have also been busy making a lovely wall display for the corridor. We made snowmen using the letters of our names and then we each wrote a riddle to match our snowman. The idea is that anyone walking past our display can interact by reading our riddles and trying to guess which snowman it matches.

We are very proud of our lovely work on display.
