🌸🐝 School Pollinator Garden Grant 🐝🌸

20th Jun 2022

The Eco Committee have some exciting news!

We have been awarded a ‘School Pollinator Garden Grant’

We submitted an application in April to ‘Live Here Love Here’ for the grant with hopes of developing our wildflower garden area in the corner of our sports pitches. This area has bug hotels and wildflowers already but we have wanted an outdoor classroom for many years and this was an opportunity to get some funding to start our journey with this project and make the most of our lovely school grounds.

We are delighted to receive the funding and we are already making plans four our Garden and classroom area. We want to be able to bring a whole class outside and develop outdoor learning, an experience that all children will now be able to benefit from.

Thank you to Live Here Love Here, Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and Eco Schools for this opportunity.

Keep watching our website for exciting updates on this project!
