👩🏼‍🚒👩🏼‍🚒👩🏼‍🚒 Primary 5 have a visit from the Fire and Rescue Service 👩🏼‍🚒👩🏼‍🚒👩🏼‍🚒

15th Mar 2023

Today fire fighters Phil, Alastair and Johnny came to school to give the two P5 classes a fire safety talk. We discussed lots of important things. We learned how to use candles and electrical equipment safely, how to test our smoke alarms on ‘Test it Tuesday’ and what to do if we ever have a fire in our homes.

At the end of the talk Phil asked us some questions to see how well we had been listening. We were also allowed to ask the firemen some questions of our own and we discovered lots of interesting things about their work.  Mr McCullough and Miss Service were very proud of us. We each got a fire safety pack with lots of fun things inside to look at when we got back to class.

Thank you Phil, Alastair and Johnny.
